Painting with watercolors is a fun medium to work with. It’s easy to blend colors together with a wet on wet technique and you can create unique textures simply by adding salt, wax, or tape to your paper. At the same time painting with watercolors can be a challenge to master. Colors that easily mix together can mix in the wrong places if you have two wet colors side by side or they can run down your paper if you move it before its dry.
